Abstract.
Virtual teaching, helped by Information and Communications Technology (ICT), has incorporated the process of learning new resources and teaching methodologies, which have made a fruitful approximation possible to the approach required by the Declaration of Bologna and the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). As an experience of our own work, we present, in the educational framework, the application of these new teaching possibilities to the learning of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) in the degree of Environmental Sciences of the UNED.
